OUR BREEDING HISTORY

My name is Jana Zajicova and I breed dogs for almost 40 years.  Me and my husband Jaroslav have started with a German Shephard - Lobik, who was soon joined by one of first Czech-bred Berger de Brie – Blizzard Petriny from Sejc couple.

My husband intensively addicted himself to dressur of our darlings, often succesfull. I took an active part together with Alena Bendova in breeding Berger de Brie in CR. In a deep totality breeding dogs or doing cynology wasn´t any easy but we all did it with pleasure and uplift. We established a breeding group for Berger de Brie and did our best to popularise and spred this race. For these almost 35 years of working with Berger de Brie and other races I saw hundreds of puppies when checking litters and valuations. My son started doing cynology in an early age and later has been jonied by his wife Jana. She did with me many actions with Berger de Brie and addicted herself to a dressur. We threw club shows, helped with throwing racing and dressur camps for Berger de Brie and other races. We bred our Bergers de Brie in a block of flats in Prague! These years were of the best years of active breeding.

In 1991 our "youngs" got a sky terrier from a breeder Mrs. Dlabolova.

ICh. Alou Modra pisnicka – called Lojza became in a moment a favourite of a whole family and kennel. Those days we had two Bergers de Brie, and mainly our half-year-old granddaughter Karolina. Lojza loved her boundlessly and protected herl, same as Dejvanek and Hesinka. He was not only a great friend, but also very succesful dog on hows here and abroad.

As years went, I had to give up some cynology activities, so me and janina though of a new race that I could physically manage. Mrs Dlabolova those days brought first Tibbies to the czech Republic and I was fascinated.  I coudn´t get another puppy to our small flat, but in 1998 we managed to buy a house close to Prague and all was done!!!! 

So our life with a tibby has started.

Mrs Dlabolova let me a girl from Irish imported dog Avigdor O´Relli – O´Reillinka, our Orinka.

My husband didn´t talk to me and jana about a month but at the end Orinka got him, too and became his darling. He was most porud of her when she was succesfull in shows.

Those days we had two Berger de Brie bitches from our last litter, Lojza and a new family member – DOGUE DE BORDEAUX Eda. Orinka soon became their friend and  favourite and was in command of them.

From this time comes start of our kennel Zlaty Klondike and our tibby breeding. Gradually our kennel grew from other tibbies, but unfortunetly our darlings also started to leave us. In 2002 Eda left us, one month later Lojza and finally a girl Sisinka. It was a terrible year, but on the other side Rocky and Jurinka – his daughter came to us from Marta.

And because - if many dogs, than really many, then Andulka joined us ad a year later Vendulka from Sweden – actually Vasek, as we all call her. This year we were left by our last Berger de Brie Kesinka. But in March Janina got a big dog, a pleasure of my son and husband, Dada – Dasenka – Do-Khyi. And finally in August came to us a tibby from Norway X-Men – Brokolice. Our kennel is completely tibetan and nobody would change.

There is nothing more magic than being waken up by a tibetan golden swarming in the morning and stepped back into your blankets by a baby Dasenka. And the biggest pleasure from our darlings we get on shows and mainly that they are with us!!!!!!
